As of May 2016, the Tetra-Falex MUST microtribometer system will no longer be supported and is replaced by the Tetra Basalt-N2 testing platform which has, among other configurations, a microNewton reciprocating configuration.
This configuration completely replaces and improves the MUST specifications.

By installing a Nanofocus Confocal Microscope, we now have the capacity to measure with high precision 3-dimensional wear tracks and 2D-3D roughness on a wide range of test materials. This dramatically expands our capacity to measure the often low wear rates that we encounter in realistic industrial wear simulations.
We also make this technology available as a contract measurement service, independent of friction and wear projects.
